Gazell's Incredible Evening

April 2008    From the moment he was introduced on stage, through the second standing ovation, it was a very magical evening.

PT Gazell was at the top of his form this April evening in Oconomowoc.  His music was energetic, melodic, and driven.

Gazell played an amazing repertoire of songs - from Bluegrass to Jazz to his song to his wife reflecting his Irish heritage (wait a second...WHAT Irish heritage???).

Every number he played connected well with the large crowd - you could sense it in those around you.  When it was over, everyone you spoke with was inspired and happy to have been part of such a moving experience.

PT, we're very grateful you shared your amazing talent and musical abilities with us.  It was an evening no one will soon forget - truly a gift for everyone in attendance.

It was also an impressive turnout by the Cooney '71 family.  We got to enjoy being "PT's Groupies" at the reception following.  Then it was downtown to find some food and fun.  Couple of problems:  First it was hard to get downtown with the street construction and in the aftermath of the church explosion.  Then, when we did get there, we couldn't find food!  (At 10 o'clock in the evening?)

Finally, Lakerz (the old Enters) came through.  We had a chance to relax and talk together.  All-in-all, a very wonderful evening.
