"Will there ever be

another class like it..."

Forever Grateful...

I think everyone attending the August 12th, 2006 Reunion felt it was a wonderful event.  And I know even those who couldn't make it were happy to know we've reestablished some ties that hold the "Class of '71 Family" together.

It's safe to say that none of this would have occurred without the persistence and diligent work of one class member -- that being Jim Gilboy.  Jim took it upon himself to make this happen, and he put a lot of time, energy and money into doing just that.

We'd like to express our thanks to Jim for everything he did!

Also, while many people worked hard to help track down our 'lost' classmates, no one worked QUITE as hard as Dave Ferris.  Dave spared no effort in finding people.  He made calls and sent out emails.  If that didn't work, he'd track down family members and ask where they were.  All his efforts were quite successful.

Dave also reached out to everyone in offering us to be part of the American Legion Band's "Parade of Lights" Concert held on Sunday evening.  It was a great concert, Dave.

Now, having said this, we'd also like to pay tribute to many others who helped us track down the 'missing.'  Included in this group is Deb Ittner Krueger,  Terry Greenwald, Mark Schneck, Jan Stromseth, Lisa Foley, Deb Beuhler, Sylvia Nacu Twenge,  Lynn Zafis Riggs, Deb Ballman Thurow, Phil Simons, Mark Petersen.  (If I've left anyone out, please send me a note!)

Finally, we'll pay tribute to the "de facto Committee" members:  Jim Gilboy, Lisa Foley and Jim Holtan.

Of course, many more people contributed to making this happen.  We'd particularly like to thank Dianne, Jim Gilboy's girlfriend, for her many contributions.
